I Would Like To Dedicate This Website To GOD, and The Furtherance Of The Gospel Of JESUS CHRIST. Without HIM I am Nothing.
He Is The True Inspiration For My Poetry.
Below you will find a list of all my poems, I hope you will be blessed by them. Click on the Title to read.
Jesus Promised
Jesus promised to be my Friend forever!
He said He’d go with me all the way,
In sunshine or rain,
Laughter or pain,
From break of dawn,
Until the ending of day
Jesus promised He’d be with me in the valley!
The “Lily” and “Rose of Sharon” He will be!
He will hold my trembling hand,
And say, “Child, I understand!”
“Have no fear; you are safe here with Me!
Jesus promised to be with me on the mountain!
Ah, there my soul will soar to awesome heights!
Oh, what joy it is to know,
That wherever I may go,
He will always be my Guiding Light!
Jesus promised me a home up in Heaven!
He’s gone away my mansion to prepare!
Those jasper walls and streets of gold,
My wondering eyes shall behold,
When my joyous soul shall enter there!

Livin’ The Good Life!
Lord, in Your presence,
Is fullness of joy,
And at Your right hand,
Are pleasures forevermore!
You have given me a peace,
The world cannot destroy,
And showered me with blessings,
From Your bountiful store!
Old satan cannot come near.
So, there’s no cause for alarm,
For You cast out doubt and fear,
And he can do me no harm!
As through this life I trod,
On the way to my eternal goal,
I place my faith in God,
The Keeper of my soul!
So, no matter what comes my way,
Be it sickness, sorrow, or strife,
At my journey’s end I shall say,
“Lord, it’s been a good life!”

Those Were The Days!
Often we speak of days gone by,
With tears in our eyes,
For we remember the church,
In her early days.
Ah, revivals then were lasting,
Because folks believed,
In praying and fasting,
And they came into God’s house,
In a Spirit of praise!
Somebody might start a song,
And the rest would sing along.
They didn’t have to be coaxed to say “amen.”
Saints would stand and testify,
And sinners would cry,
As the Holy Ghost convicted them of their sins.
Taking medicine was practically unheard of,
For Brothers and Sisters in a Spirit of love,
Would pray for each other’s needs!
The Holy Ghost would fall,
From the opening prayer to the altar call!
Visitors had no need of a program to read.
Even though they were going through a trial,
Saints would keep their happy smile.
They were always humble and meek.
They dwelt in one accord,
And like Jesus their Lord,
They always turned the other cheek.
God’s preachers had a burning desire,
And being anointed with Holy Ghost fire,
They would deliver the message,
“Thus saith the Lord!”
They described hell down below,
As a place sinners go,
And Heaven above as the saints reward.
Friend, it could be the same today,
If we would only fast and pray,
And put our petty differences aside.
You see, that’s what it will take,
If we are going to make,
The “catching away of Christ’s bride!”
